The Next Door service provides business information and directions based on a user's cell I.D. number. Alternatively, users can manually enter a location by city and quarter, postal address or Autobahn KM. FileatWill and GoZing each took a Silver Award in this category.
VVault allows mobile access to desktop computer files. In addition to winning first prize for "Best Group Productivity," vVault was named "Best of Show" for its overall usefulness and effectiveness in reaching mobile consumers. With vVault, a user can upload files into public, private, or shared folders, and access those files from any desktop or mobile device. The service also allows users to e-mail or fax these files to others. An account includes 25 megabytes of secure storage space and 10 outbound fax pages.
"We are proud not only of today's winners, but of all 27 nominees who truly represent the best in their respective categories," said Dr. Ronjon Nag, CEO and co-founder of Cellmania.
